The Honorary Grace and Grits Fund

The Grace and Grits Fund was established to honor the history, traditions, and culinary arts that have shaped the cultural landscape of the South Carolina Lowcountry.

Annual contributions from the Grace and Grits Fund are directed to organizations that strengthen communities, support after-school programs, promote culinary education, and benefit underserved members of the local community.

After-School Programs

  • Youth Connection Initiative (YCI)  – Powered by Palmetto Cheese – Donate 8 laptops to local churches and after school programs to provide youth connectivity and opportunity.
  • Village Group – Providing youth development, literacy enrichment, STEM-based education, and recreation via after school programs.

Scholarship

  • Culinary – Horry-Georgetown Technical College (International Culinary Institute of Myrtle Beach). This scholarship was established to encourage aspiring chefs and entrepreneurs in the Georgetown County School system to pursue their dreams.

Proud to support the Horry-Georgetown Technical College Foundation with an annual scholarship fund to help deserving students in the Culinary Arts program at the International Culinary Institute of Myrtle Beach reach educational goals through tuition support.

Brian and Sassy, you have been a constant supporter of our mission over years and we sincerely thank you for investing in our future leaders with your gifts and donations. This year, more than any other year that we have been involved with this program, is very important and critical to help stabilize the learning environment for our young people. This donation will be put to good use this summer as we resume our in person academy.
Thanks 🙏🏾
