How does Palmetto Chicken have the extended shelf life without adding Artificial Preservatives?
In order to naturally extend the shelf life of our Palmetto Chicken Salad, we use High Pressure Processing (HPP). HPP is a cold pasteurization by which products, already sealed in final packaging, are introduced into a vessel and subjected to a high level of hydrostatic pressures. The technology is a natural, environmentally friendly process that helps maintain fresh food characteristics including the original nutrition, texture, and taste.
